I want to imagine from the day you were born till now, you never took a bath. The obvious is, you should be smelling and may be dead by now. I want to assume, the majority of us reading this letter, never took one, since birth. Are you surprised? I am talking of an “inside shower”, which is called Detoxification. If you have never done a body cleanse, chances are that, it may be one of the reasons you are always sick. Your body is crying inside for a shower you have not had for years.

There are many body channels to be detoxed. Your liver is your first and the largest internal organ. It is about four pounds in weight. It is larger than your brain. Its job is to deal with toxins, food additives, like food colorings, drugs, alcohol and many others. If not cleansed, there are more chances of you having cancer.

Your kidneys are part of the urinary system. The nephrons are a part of your kidneys. They control blood concentration and volume by removing water and other substances dissolved in another substance, the dissolved substances are called solutes. When you eat proteins, you produce nitrogenous wastes such as ammonia and urea, especially when you eat meat and other animal products. These must be eliminated via urine.

Your lungs, deal with oxygen and carbon dioxide. The  right lung is thicker and broader than the left lung. The right lung is also shorter than the left, because the diaphragm is shorter on the right to accommodate the liver which is below it. The respiratory system consists of nose, bronchi, trachea, pharynx and larynx as a team with your lungs.

Your gallbladder is about four inches long and located on the lower side of the liver. It stores concentrate bile which is made by the liver. That is where you end up having gallstones. If you don’t know the cause of your disease or know it, your chronic illness may be caused by your gallbladder that is not clean.

Your skin is the second supporting organ of all elimination organs. It’s about three thousand square inches. It is usually the best indicator of inside body impurities. It shows by rashes, pimples, or sometimes, boils. It helps maintain body temperature, excretes wastes, synthesizes vitamin D and others.

Your lymphatic system is the other supporting system. The lymphatic tissue contains white blood cells that protect the body from foreign cells and cancer cells. It picks all cellular waste and dumps in your bloodstream. It has no pump like the blood pushed by your heart bits. It depends on your movement. This means, you can not just sit and be healthy.

Your intestines are the second primary channel of elimination. The small and large intestines are about twenty-six feet. The small intestines have three sections, the duodenum, jejunum, and the ileum. When you eat your foods, minerals are absorbed in the duodenum which is about a foot of the small intestines.  When it comes to water soluble vitaminscarbohydrates, and proteins, they are absorbed in the eight foot long Jejunum. The Ileum is a twelve feet section which absorbs fat soluble vitamin, fat and bile salts. The last five feet section is known as the colon. The colon has three segments, the ascending, transverse and descending.

Here, when food is a thick fluid mass of partially digested food and gastric secretions, it enters the ascending colon through the ileocecal valve. When it moves across the transverse colon, liquids and nutrients are extracted and then the stool is formed into semisolid state. As it gets into the descending colon it gets firmer. Two thirds of the stool is water, undigested fiber and food products and one third is, living and dead bacteria.

The mixture enters the lowest portion of the bowel, the sigmoid colon and empties into the rectum for excretion.

I have given you a summary of how your inside system works. From the look of things, your inside requires a proper shower  once every a year, or twice depending on the need. As long as the inside is kept clean as we do the outside, who and I repeat, who can get sick easily? Cancer will not visit you. Even the absorption of minerals, vitamins, carbohydrates etc on different sections of the intestines. That would very easily be absorbed because the places are very clean. Please take a shower, at least once per year to prepare your body for the coming year. To go for years without one, means you are fertile ground for diseases.
